My Golf

MyGolf is Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia’s national junior introductory program to develop and promote participation in golf. Through the MyGolf Sporting Schools program, we aim to introduce children to the game of Golf through fun, engaging and challenging games and activities that are easily suited and adapted for a range of age groups and skill levels.


MyGolf Sporting Schools is a fully flexible program that can be tailored to suit your needs. A minimum four sessions is required and there is no maximum number of sessions. A visit to your local golf club or facility is recommended, however is optional. 

Programs can be delivered by Golf Australia accredited and endorsed coaches. Teachers are most welcome to deliver the MyGolf Sporting Schools program. Resources such as manuals and access to the MyGolf School Coaching Resource App for iPad are available through Golf Australia. 

Online training is available for teachers to become accredited MyGolf Schools community instructors, however is not compulsory. The cost of this is $99 and can be covered through Sporting Schools funding.  

Registered school contacts can login to their Sporting Schools account to access the Booking System and view all the packages available in more detail. Please note: Separate packages are available for Northern Territory, Victoria and Queensland.

Golf kit for Sporting Schools program

Schools will need to order the equipment prior to the commencement of the program via the MyGolf Online Shop.


Golf Australia secondary sporting schools program offering is five session program that offers flexibility for teachers and coaches to allow a range of delivery methods and engagement strategies to best teach the skills of golf in the secondary school environment. 

Students will learn the three swings in golf; putting, chipping and full swing as well as the strategy of game play through fun, challenging and student lead activities. There is also an option to incorporate a golf fitness component to the program to increase physical activity. 


There are two secondary school golf kits available for purchase through the MyGolf Online Shop. You will be provided login details prior to the program commencing to access the shop.
