Research project continues to measure Sporting Schools’ value
ORIMA Research, together with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) are continuing to measure how well Sporting Schools has achieved its objectives.
Over the past two terms, schools and other stakeholders involved with the delivery of Sporting Schools have provided feedback about the program via targeted surveys sent to school principals, teachers, coaches and sporting organisations.
A similar approach has been used this term and schools have been randomly selected to participate in the ORIMA Research survey, and asked about:
- their experience in the program;
- how it could be improved; and
- the impact that Sporting Schools has on students and the school community.
In addition, ORIMA staff have been working with a select number of schools to provide further in-depth insights, including from children and families involved in the program.
If you have received a survey we would appreciate your feedback by the survey close date – 20th December.
The evaluation will offer insights into Australia’s largest sports participation program. A final evaluation report will be presented to Government in early 2017.
