Online Booking system offers flexibility and improved access to sport
Testing of the new online Sporting Schools booking system is underway, and already sports are saying the system’s flexibility will help strengthen their connection with schools in local communities.
Water Polo Australia and Golf Australia are among 10 sports that have tested the booking system. They say the simplicity of the system cuts their administrative time so they can focus more on delivering a quality sport package to schools across Australia.
In the lead up to launching its new FlippaBall program in Sporting Schools during Term 4 to help get more children playing sport, Water Polo’s National Participation Manager, Holly Davis, says the timing of the online booking system couldn’t be better.
“We will launch FlippaBall into schools using the new booking system – which will allow our coaches and clubs around the country to be showcased equally among other sports,” Ms Davis said.
“We hope this system will help us get more children in school communities to experience water polo in a fun and safe environment – regardless of their access to a pool or level of ability.”
Golf Australia’s National Schools Golf Coordinator, Shaun Hickman, said the new online booking system would offer schools flexible options for sport packages – designed to meet the needs of the school and its responsiveness to customer requests – and make shopping for sport a lot easier.
“Testing the booking system has also helped us to ensure that schools can view the variety of our MyGolf packages that can be tailored for all schools across Australia,” Mr Hickman said.
